I offer online counselling for adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or carrying more than they can comfortably manage on their own. People often come to counselling during periods of burnout, life transition, loss, or when patterns of coping no longer feel helpful.
Counselling offers a confidential, non-judgemental space to explore what’s going on for you. Together, we can gently make sense of your experiences, thoughts, and feelings, and notice what might be contributing to how things feel right now.
My approach is person-centred and relational. Sessions are led by you and shaped around what feels most important to bring, at a pace that feels manageable. There is no expectation to arrive with clear goals or answers — counselling can be a place to pause, reflect, and begin to understand
There are different ways counselling can work, and we can talk together about what feels right for you.
Open ended counselling
Some people choose open-ended counselling, where sessions continue on a weekly or fortnightly basis for as long as they feel helpful. This approach allows space to explore things in depth, with flexibility to follow what emerges over time.
Fixed term counselling
Others prefer a fixed number of sessions, offering a time-limited space to focus on a particular period, experience, or question. Fixed-term counselling can provide structure and containment, with no expectation to continue beyond the agreed sessions.
Whichever approach you choose, this can be reviewed at any point. You’re free to change pace, pause, or end sessions when it feels right for you.
Some people come wanting space to reflect on direction, decisions, or changes they may be considering in their lives. These supportive conversations offer a place to think things through without pressure to reach conclusions or take action before you feel ready.
This work is reflective and client-led, drawing on counselling and coaching-informed ways of working. It can be helpful if you’re feeling uncertain, at a crossroads, or wanting to understand yourself better as you consider what might come next.
These conversations are shaped around your needs and pace, and are always grounded in care, respect, and choice.
The first step is a free initial consultation. This is a short no pressure space to talk a little about what's been going on for you and to see whether working together feels like a good fit.
There's no obligation to continue - it's simply a chance to ask questions and take things one step at a time.
